Why did you choose my major?

It's a difficult question, sometimes I can't even answer it for myself. The career I study was not my first choice, I really wanted to study archeology, but because of destiny I didn't. Since I was little I like art, but not practicing it, I like to study about it. My dream was to be an archaeologist like Indiana Jones, but like I said before, I didn't. I study theory and art history, to be like a kind of assistant to Indiana Jones. At first I was not very enthusiastic, but eventually I fell in love with the career. So now I am happy with what I study.

My university experience has not been the best, the pandemic and online classes stress me a lot, but it comforts me to think that every day is one less.
I would like to work in research, to be able to travel the world investigating works of art.

 I'll tell you something about me,

My full name is Amira Valls Fierro, my family and friends call me Amira. Because I have a strange name, I've never had a nickname. I've never really liked my name, but over the years it doesn't affect me as much as before. I'm twenty years old and I was born in September 23, 2000  in Santiago de Chile. Eleven years ago I lived in Viña del Mar, but I returned to Santiago seven years ago. I live in the commune of Ñuñoa, near the national stadium, in a apartment on the nineteenth floor, I have a very good view of the city. At night I like to look at the city from my window, the lights make it look very pretty. 

My family consists of my mother, my father and my younger brother. Besides, on my father’s side, I have four more brothers. I live with my mother and our little dog named Bali. My little brother lives with my dad very close to our house. When my little brother comes to visit us or I go to visit them, we spend a lot of time together watching series, playing video games or playing poker. Playing poker is one of our favorite pastimes, we like to gamble a lot, but not in a worrisome way. Another thing I can tell you about myself, is that my favorite series is Naruto, I like it so much that I could watch it a thousand times or more. So if anyone likes it as much as I do, comment on this publication to discuss the series. 

During the week I usually focus on university studies, so I can rest the weekend. I practice yoga three times a week and now I enter a Chi Kung course, which is a type of Chinese exercise. 

I have an obsession with incense, aromatic essences and candles, I have many of these things in my house. In addition, I really like to draw murals, in my room I have two, although I will soon erase them and make new ones. 

Other of my pastimes is to ride a bike and dance, but lately I’ve put dance aside , maybe later I’ll tell you the reason.

Oh! I forgot to tell them I’m a student of Theory and Art History, enter the year 2020. Even though it wasn’t my first choice, I ended up liking it a lot, but I must say that sometimes having to read so much stresses me out a little.
